Famed criminal defense attorney William Kuntsler spoke at a law day event at RDA in 1982. Here he is against the back wall. I thought it might look like he was in a kind of institution where he might be consulting with one of his clients. Among his prominent clients were the Black Panthers and the Chicago Eight/Seven who were accused of conspiring to disrupt the 1968 Chicago Democratic Convention resulting in a police riot. They were acquitted by the Supreme Court. I later made portraits of Abbie Hoffman, one of the Chicago 8/7 defendants.
